Running a flexible business around my family wasn’t my first big dream. Pre-baby I was a singer/songwriter with my heart set on becoming a recording artist.

Just as ‘branding’ obsessed then, we were invited for a meeting at EMI HQ in London and we were the first unsigned band to present a brand booklet that detailed our exact vision, values, goals – and a name for a style of music: poptimism!

It was a big decision to put a pause on my music journey,  but dreams evolve and I wouldn’t change it. For now, this one is for anyone at the start of their biz dream who needs a little encouragement…
